It is such a pleasure to write this for Ashley Lovell regarding the pet sitting service she provides.

My cats and I have known Ashley for many years. She has been their acting guardian on many occasions including a few long term over night stays and during personal emergencies.

There is something luminescent about Ashley’s energy. A human can certainly sense it, but to see her with animals is deeply calming. She is a natural communicator, a healer, a deep and compassionate listener, and she has a spiritual and practical wisdom. She

spares no worthy resource when I ask her opinion on nutrition, behavior or the like. My cats are immediately trusting of Ashley and relax near / on her in a very intimate way. By studying her interactions with them, I have learned to “hear” them better myself.

It shouldn’t be left out that her attunement combined with her sense of humor and narrative writing skills make for some pretty fun (and authentic) status reports.

All this, and she always leaves a place in better condition than she found it.

I adore her, my cats adore her, friends who I have referred her to adore her.... and I’d attest to her service all the livelong days.

To the owner of a very needy and very beloved pet, Ashley Lovell was a godsend!

Ashley took care of my cat Bridger and my apartment when I was out of town for an extended period of time. My cat demands constant attention, and he also has health issues due to a poorly functioning kidney. This condition means he needs very specific amounts of prescription food, and the continual and regular presence of a human companion. Ashley rose to this challenge and remembered all of my cats specific needs, from minute food measurement details to the way that his litter needed to be cleaned. She also gave

him something that can be overlooked by petsitters, which is affection, play, and care.

All of my interactions with her were wonderful, as Ashley is an enthusiastic, professional, and truly kind person who can perceive the needs of both people and animals. She made time on extremely short notice to help watch my cat, and when I returned to my apartment it was cleaner and more organized than it was before, and my cat was happier than ever. I could tell that he had been well-cared for and loved in my absence.

There are not a lot of people I would trust to catsit, but knowing Ashley now, I would call her in a second should I need help. She invests herself fully in her work and understands that a pet is part of someone’s family. It was easy to explain my cats various needs to her without feeling like I was handing her too much work, and she met every need without question. I feel happy knowing that people’s pets will be taken care of by Ashley when they are not around!
